Lionsgate has dropped an official trailer for Fall, the upcoming survival thriller starring Grace Caroline Currey and Virginia Gardner. The film will be arriving in theaters on August 12.

The video features two best friends, Becky and Hunter, who are thrill-seekers that are fond of doing death-defying climbs. After a climbing accident that results in the death of her boyfriend, Becky develops a fear of climbing. However, when Hunter invites her to climb an old tower, Becky reluctantly agrees in the hopes of overcoming her trauma. Unfortunately, Becky’s worst fears come true, as they both find themselves trapped on the top of the tower after their ladder suddenly breaks off.

Fall stars Grace Caroline Currey (Shazam!), Virginia Gardner (Marvel’s Runaways), Mason Gooding (Scream 5), and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead).

“For best friends Becky and Hunter, life is all about conquering fears and pushing limits,” reads the synopsis. “But after they climb 2,000 feet to the top of a remote, abandoned radio tower, they find themselves stranded with no way down. Now Becky and Hunter’s expert climbing skills will be put to the ultimate test as they desperately fight to survive the elements, a lack of supplies, and vertigo-inducing heights in this adrenaline-fueled thriller.”

Fall is directed and produced by Scott Mann from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jonathan Frank. Producers are Christian Mercuri, James Harris, and Mark Lane.
