The Flash, Ezra Miller, burglary

We should all be used to this now, but we’ve got another installment of the Ezra Miller chronicles. According to the Vermont State Police, Ezra Miller has been charged with felony burglary for an incident that occurred back in May.

The Vermont State Police were notified of a burglary complaint from a residence in Stamford, Vermont at 5:55 pm on May 1st. Police found that several bottles of alcohol had been taken from within the residence while the homeowners were not present. As a result of an investigation that included surveillance videos and statements, police found probable cause to charge Ezra Miller with felony burglary into an unoccupied dwelling. Miller was ultimately located on August 7th and issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court on September 26th for arraignment on the burglary charge.

This burglary charge is the latest in a long string of troubling allegations and controversies involving The Flash actor. Miller is facing allegations of abuse from several different women around the world, as well as charges of disorderly conduct, harassment, and more. A recent Rolling Stone investigation found that Miller has been hosting a 25-year-old mother and her three young children on a 96-acre property in Vermont. Sources said that the home is an unsafe environment for the young children, as there seem to be many “unattended guns” around the property. The property also allegedly doubles as an unlicensed cannabis farm. Warner Bros. has apparently been trying to help the actor, but the sheer volume of incidents may (finally) force their hand.

Despite calls for The Flash to be cancelled or Ezra Miller’s role to be recast, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zazlav said that the movie is still a go. “We have seen The Flash, Black Adam, and Shazam 2,” Zaslav said. “We are very excited about them. We’ve seen them. We think they are terrific, and we think we can make them even better. The Flash is currently set to hit theaters on June 23, 2023.
