A turnê “Last Summer on Earth” do Barenaked Ladies retornará à América do Norte em 2023 e, este ano, eles recrutaram Del Amitri, Semisonic e Five for Fighting como suporte.
Os roqueiros alternativos planejaram turnês de verão sob o nome intermitentemente desde 2012, quando o mundo deveria acabar. Desta vez, Del Amitri abriu todas as datas, com Semisonic e Five for Fighting dividindo metade dos shows também. A jornada de Semisonic começa em 2 de junho em Columbus, Ohio e inclui datas em Chicago, Kansas City e Los Angeles antes de encerrar em 26 de junho em Austin. Five for Fighting pega em Tuscaloosa, Alabama em 28 de junho e se junta a Barenaked Ladies para shows em Atlanta, DC e Nova York antes da turnê terminar em 22 de julho em Clarkston, Michigan.

Em 2021, Barenaked Ladies lançou desvio de força, seu 16º álbum de estúdio. Em um Consequência exclusivo, a banda compartilhou as origens do corte do álbum “Flip”, que marcou seu primeiro single em quatro anos.
