The season five teaser for Yellowstone has arrived, drumming up more hype for the popular Paramount western series.

The short teaser shows various characters from Yellowstone: Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly), Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley), Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes), Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser), and John Dutton (Kevin Costner).

Yellowstone “chronicles the Dutton family, led by John Dutton (Costner), who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States. Amid shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds, and hard-earned respect – the ranch is in constant conflict with those it borders – an expanding town, an Indian reservation, and vicious business rivalries.”

Yellowstone has proven to be a major hit for Paramount, with the season four finale pulling in over 9 million viewers. That finale will play into the Yellowstone‘s season five favorably for fans, according to actor Hauser.

“Season Five is going to be wonderful. The way we ended Season Four—I can’t give too much away, but the way Season Four ends, I think the audience…will be happily surprised.”

Yellowstone season five will consist of 14 episodes, split into two parts, compared to the typical 10 episodes for season two through four. (Season one had nine episodes.) Other than Hauser, Costner, Reilly, and Grimes, new faces such as Kai Caster, Lilli Kay, Dawn Oliveri, and Lainey Wilson will join the cast. The show is created by Taylor Sheridan (Hell or High Water, Wind River) and John Linson (Sons of Anarchy). It was nominated for the Producers Guild of America Award for Best Episodic Drama.

Paramount’s Yellowstone also has numerous spin-off series: 1883 and the upcoming 1923 (airing this December) and 6666.

Paramount will air a series marathon over Labor Day weekend beginning on September 2 ahead of a two-hour season five premiere of Yellowstone on November 13.
