Disney’s Dumbo is a classic animated movie that came out in 1941. It was the fourth Disney animated feature film to ever come out and focused on a unique baby elephant, Jumbo Jr. who has floppy ears that enable him to fly. In the film, Dumbo/Jumbo Jr. has a supreme lack of confidence but is motivated by his buddy, Timothy the Mouse, to overcome all his obstacles. Timothy fills the baby elephant with a belief to achieve great things.

The oversized ears that were initially thought to be a deformity eventually allow Jumbo Jr. to fly and become a beloved circus elephant before he finds his freedom. The film features the voice talents of Edward Brophy as Timothy Q. Mouse, Margaret Wright as Casey Jr., Verna Felton as Elephant Matriarch/Mrs. Jumbo, and Sarah Selby as Prissy the Elephant. Others included are Noreen Gammill as Catty the Elephant, and Dorothy Scott as Giddy the Elephant.
