Crunchyroll announced on Thursday that the 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray release for Violet Evergarden the Movie has been set, with a special box set releasing on May 30, 2023.
The box set for Violet Evergarden the Movie will include a special collectors box, 12 unique art cards, and a filler box designed to fit into the Violet Evergarden The Complete Series Limited Edition Set that released in 2020.
The Blu-ray and box set will also come with various promo videos and trailers as special features on the disc. The film, which was released in 2020, continues the story of Violet Evergarden from the anime series.
Alongside the box set for Violet Evergarden the Movie, Crunchyroll also announced a special Limited Edition Box Set for the second season of Restaurant to Another World. This box set will contain a 64-page art book filled with concept art, interviews, and more, three official recipe cards, and a box that will hold both Seasons 1 and 2 of the series for those who own both.
Restaurant to Another World premiered in 2017, with its second season starting up in 2021 and coming to an end in December 2021. The series tells the story of a restaurant that serves Japanese versions of Western dishes, but becomes a doorway to another world every Saturday.
