Festive Horror comedy There’s Something in the Barn has been picked up by Charades for a theatrical release later the year.

There’s Something in the Barn sees a family who has happily moved to their old family farm in the Norwegian Mountain. Their peaceful lives turn into a hellscape when they come across the Nordic folklore creatures known as the Barn Elf.

Variety has an exclusive teaser you can view below. It gives off a bit of a Gremlins vibe.

The release date for There’s Something in the Barn is set for November 10, 2023

There’s Something in the Barn stars Martin Starr (Freaks and Geeks, Knocked Up), Amrita Acharia (Game of Thrones), and Jeppe Beck Laursen (The Last Kingdom). It’s directed by Magnus Martens (Fear the Walking Dead).

The film is set to have its world premiere at Sitges and Fantastic Fest.
