HBO has dropped the official trailer for the forthcoming TV adaptation of The Time Traveler’s Wife, based on Audrey Niffenegger’s 2003 romantic drama novel of the same name. The six-episode series is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, May 15.

The video continues to highlight Henry and Claire’s enduring love story through time as Henry’s cursed ability complicates their relationship. It also teases Henry’s efforts in trying to save his mother from the car accident that traumatized him.

HBO’s The Time Traveler’s Wife is described as “an intricate and magical love story, following the story of Clare and Henry, and a marriage with a problem… time travel.”

It hails from Emmy-winning director David Nutter (Game of Thrones, Band of Brothers), and writer Steven Moffat (Doctor Who, Sherlock). It stars Rose Leslie (Game of Thrones) as Clare Abshire, Theo James (Divergent) as Henry DeTamble, Desmin Borges (You’re the Worst) as Gomez, and Natasha Lopez (Runner Runner) as Charisse.

Additional cast includes Michael Park, Caitlin Shorey, Everleigh McDonell, Jaime Ray Newman, Taylor Richardson, Peter Graham, Brian Altemus, Jason David, Kate Siegel, Josh Stamberg, Chelsea Frei, Marcia DeBonis, Will Brill, and Spencer House.

The Time Traveler’s Wife is an HBO and Warner Bros. Television production. It is executive produced by Moffat, Sue Vertue, and Brian Minchin through Hartswood Films along with Joseph E. Iberti and David Nutter.
