A new clip from The Palace has been revealed.

This upcoming black comedy movie is co-written and directed by Roman Polanski, who has made famous films like Rosemary’s Baby, The Pianist, and Chinatown. “The film takes place on New Year’s Eve 1999, where a dinner party at the Gstaad Palace takes an unexpected turn,” reads the official synopsis.

The movie stars Oliver Masucci as Hansueli, Fanny Ardant as Constance Rose Marie de La Valle, John Cleese as Arthur William Dallas III, Bronwyn James as Magnolia, Joaquim de Almeida as Dr. Lima, Luca Barbareschi as Bongo, Milan Peschel as Caspar Tell, Fortunato Cerlino as Tonino, Michelle Shapa as Zoria, Mickey Rourke as Bill Crush, Alexander Petrov, Viktor Dobronravov, Irina Kastrinidis as Dubravka, Olga Kent, Naike Anna Silipo, Matthew T. Reynolds, Teco Celio, Marina Strakhova as Natasha, Danylo Kotov, and Davide Gagliardi.

The Palace is written by Jerzy Skolimowski, Ewa Piaskowska, and Roman Polanski. It is produced by Luca Barbareschi, Wojciech Gostomczyk, and Jean-Louis Porchet.

It will premiere at the 80th Venice International Film Festival and will release in Italy on September 28, 2023, by 01 Distribution.
