The Night Agent Season 2 release date is expected to arrive by late-2024.
The political thriller series took everyone by surprise when it arrived on March 23, 2023. Similar to its predecessor, season 2 is also confirmed to have 10 episodes. Since it has a 2024 deadline, it should begin production very soon. Given that there have been no reports of principal photography until now, it’s likely that The Night Agent season 2 will arrive in the latter part of 2024.

Showrunner Shawn Ryan spoke to Deadline and confirmed that he has several ideas for where he wants to take the series in season 2. The first season was based on the Matthew Quirk novel of the same name and starred Gabriel Basso as Peter Sutherland and Luciane Buchanan as Rose Larkin in the lead. Both of them are certainly expected to return in the next season.
Season 1 did not leave a lot of unanswered questions, so season 2 will mostly feature an entirely new story with multiple new characters being added into the mix. Peter ended the first season by accepting a field job and jetting off for his first mission. So, we should expect season 2 to pick up a little while after that.
