Star Trek: Resurgence is quite far from its original spring 2022 release window. However, Dramatic Labs has finally announced the release date for this licensed adventure game. Star Trek: Resurgence is coming out on May 23 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. No price has been revealed, though.

The team didn’t release a new trailer for the occasion, only a tweet to mark the day. Dramatic Labs has released a couple of gameplay videos of the title in action so far. It borrows heavily from Telltale Games’ style of adventure titles, which makes sense given how Dramatic Labs is made up of 20 former Telltale developers that have all worked on other licensed titles like Star Trek that include The Walking DeadGame of ThronesThe Wolf Among Us, and Batman.

Resurgence has also been delayed a few times with the most recent time being in March. Dramatic Labs had moved the game from spring 2022 to April 2023 and now finally to May 2023. There was initial confusion during the most recent delay because some took “in May 23” as the date being May 23. However, the team sent out a follow-up tweet saying that it only meant May 2023. That, coincidentally or not, ended up being its release date, which the game’s Twitter account made a cheeky note of with a GIF of Picard putting his face in his palm.
