The official See You On Venus trailer for Voltage Pictures and Vertical’s upcoming film adaptation of Victoria Vinuesa’s coming-of-age romance novel has been released. The video features two teenagers Mia and Kyle, as they go on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Spain in order to find Mia’s birth mother. The film arrives in theaters on July 21.

What to Expect in See You on Venus?

“The film follows Mia and Kyle, two misfit American teens who travel to Spain in search of Mia’s birth mother,” reads the synopsis. “As the pair road trip through the picturesque cities of Andalusia and fall in love, they discover that the most important question isn’t who gave you life but what you decide to do with it.”

See You on Venus is directed by Spanish filmmaker Joaquín Llamas from a screenplay written by Vinuesa. The film stars Virginia Gardner (Marvel’s Runaways), Alex Aiono (Pretty Little Liars: Original Scene), Rob Estes, Isabel Serrano, Bernard Bullen, Alex Astor-Fabra, and more.

In addition to starring, Gardner is also serving as an executive producer along with Nicolas Chartier, Jonathan Deckter, and Pia Patatian. It is also produced by Brian Pitt.
