Max‘s new TV and movie releases for September 18-24 include Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper, the animated series Young Love, and the fourth season of The CW’s Nancy Drew series.

Starting on September 21, viewers can stream Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper. This biographical film is based on Chris Kyle’s memoir American Sniper: The Autobiography of The Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History and follows Kyle, played by Bradley Cooper in the film, who became the deadliest marksman of the U.S. Army with 255 kills from four tours in the Iraq war. The film shows Kyle suffering in his personal life, even though he was celebrated for his military success. Aside from Cooper, the film also stars Sienna Miller, Luke Grimes, Jake McDorman, Cory Hardrict, Navid Negahban, Kyle Gallner, and Sam Jaeger.

Again on September 21, viewers can stream the Max original series, Young Love, which offers a deep and genuine look into the lives of an African-American family of young millennial parents as they struggle with challenges and responsibilities related to careers, marriage, parenthood, social issues and generational dynamics in an attempt to lead a great life.

Finally, on September 22, viewers can stream the fourth season of The CW’s Nancy Drew series, based on the mystery novel series of the same name. The series and its episodes are narrated by amateur investigator Nancy Drew, who is played by Kennedy McMann. Other cast members of this mystery-drama series include Leah Lewis, Madison Jaizani, Tunji Kasim, Scott Wolff, Riley Smith, and Alex Saxon. With Wolff and Smith playing original characters created for the series.

Other Max releases expected to take place from September 18-24 include La Macana (2023), Naked Attraction, Blippi Wonders Season 3, Paris Can Wait (2017), and Outrageous Pumpkins Season 4.
