The fifth season of Grown-ish is topping the Disney Plus schedule for July 17-23.
On Wednesday, July 19, Disney Plus subscribers can watch Grown-ish season 5 on their favorite streamer. A spin-off of the popular sitcom Black-ish, Grown-ish premiered in January 2018. It follows Zoey Johnson (Yara Shahidi) while attending the fictional California University of Liberal Arts while exploring the implications of college life, including dating, partying, academic pressures, and finding their own paths in life. In season 5, the focus shifted to Zoey’s younger brother, Andre Junior (Marcus Scribner). Over the years, the cast included Deon Cole, Trevor Jackson, Francia Raisa, Emily Arlook, Jordan Buhat, Chris Parnell, Chloe Bailey, Halle Bailey, Luka Sabbat, Diggy Simmons, Daniella Perkins, and Justine Skye, among others. The series is currently airing its sixth and final season on Freeform, with the date of the series finale yet to be announced.
On the same day, Disney Plus will also premiere the fifth installment of Secret Invasion. The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe series is based on Brian Michael Bendis, Leinil Francis Yu, Mark Morales, and Laura Martin’s comic book series of the same name. It sees Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and his allies facing a group of Skrulls aiming to take over Earth. It stars Ben Mendelsohn, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Killian Scott, Samuel Adewunmi, Dermot Mulroney, Richard Dormer, Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, Don Cheadle, Charlayne Woodard, Christopher McDonald, and Katie Finneran.
Little Disney Plus fans will be happy to hear the streamer will also add five episodes of Hailey’s On It! to the catalog starting Wednesday.
