The Hulu schedule for June 19-25 has been announced. Here are the new TV shows and movies being added to the streaming platform next week.
On Sunday, June 25, the streamer will add Barbarian to its available content. The horror movie had a good theatrical run for a low-budget project, grossing over $45 million at the box office since its release on September 9, 2022. It stars Georgina Campbell, Bill Skarsgård, Justin Long, Matthew Patrick Davis, Richard Brake, Kurt Braunohler, and Jaymes Butler, with Skarsgård also serving as an executive producer.
“Arriving in Detroit for a job interview, a young woman books a rental home,” reads the synopsis. “But when she arrives late at night, she discovers that the house is double booked and a strange man is already staying there. Against her better judgement, she decides to spend the evening, but soon discovers that there’s a lot more to fear than just an unexpected house guest.”
Michael Schaefer, Natalie Lehmann, Danny Chan, and Alex Lebovici executive produced the film. Producers are Arnon Milchan, Roy Lee, Raphael Margules, and J.D. Lifshitz. It hails from 20th Century Studios and New Regency.
On Thursday, June 22, Hulu will also drop all 10 installments of FX’s The Bear. Created by Christopher Storer, the comedy series returns for another run with its beloved protagonists. The plot follows the misadventures of Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), who returns to Chicago to run his family’s beef sandwich shop after his brother’s suicide. The cast includes Ayo Edebiri as Sydney Adamu, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Richard “Richie” Jerimovich, and Lionel Boyce as Marcus, among others.
