The much-anticipated Extraction sequel is the hottest title premiering as part of the Netflix schedule for June 12-18.

On Friday, June 16, Netflix will add Extraction 2 to its available content, one of the most-anticipated Netflix movies in 2023. Directed by Sam Hargrave, the upcoming action movie features the return of Marvel Cinematic Universe star Chris Hemsworth as Tyler Rake, the Australian black-ops mercenary. Extraction was one of the nicest surprises in 2020 thanks to its nail-biting action sequences that mesmerized the viewers, making it Netflix’s most-watched film during its first month of release.

Following their MCU collaboration, Hemsworth and Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo join forces again. The Russos are producing Extraction 2, with Joe also attached as screenwriter. The film also stars Golshifteh Farahani, Tornike Gogrichiani, Adam Bessa, Daniel Bernhardt, Tinatin Dalakishvili, and Olga Kurylenko.

On Friday, Netflix will also release Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King. The upcoming movie is part of the beloved Black Clover franchise but will tell a brand-new story. It will feature the return of Asta and more familiar faces from the Black Clover series. Fans who’re not familiar with Black Clover need to catch up with the series on Crunchyroll and Funimation as it’s not currently part of the Netflix available content.
