The Max June 5-11 schedule is headlined by Avatar: The Way of Water and the third season of Walker, among other things.
On Wednesday, June 7, the successful Avatar 2 will head to the Warner Bros. Discovery-owned streamer, concomitantly with its Disney Plus release. The James Cameron-directed Avatar sequel sees Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and the rest of the Pandora inhabitants threatened by the return of Miles Quaritch (Stephen Lang). The movie ended its theatrical run with over $2.3 billion at the box office, one of the biggest successes in movie history. The ensemble cast includes Zoe Saldaña, Joel David Moore, Sigourney Weaver, Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Michelle Yeoh, and more.
And starting Saturday, June 10, Max subscribers can watch Walker season 3. Based on the successful nineties Walker, Texas Ranger western series, the modern reboot follows a fearless Texas Ranger dealing with all sorts of outlaws. It stars Jared Padalecki, Lindsey Morgan, Molly Hagan, and Keegan Allen, among others. Composed of 18 installments, Season 3 premiered on The CW on October 6, 2022, and wrapped up on May 11, 2023. Fans can expect more adventures for Walker as the series has already been renewed for another season.
The Max schedule for next week also features First Five, a Finnish documentary series focusing on Finland’s all-female cabinet.
