Prime Video delves into South Korean productions this week.

Starting Wednesday, September 7, Prime Video subscribers can watch one of the most popular South Korean TV series in recent times, Prison Playbook. Directed by Shin Won-ho, the series scored some of the highest ratings in South Korean cable television history following its 2017 release. It stars Park Hae-soo and Jung Kyung-ho, among others. Prison Playbook features the story of a baseball pitcher serving time in a correctional facility after killing someone who attempted to sexually attack his sister.

Prime Video will also add He Is Psychometric, a sci-fi series that first aired in 2019. Briefly, the story follows a young man who has the power of psychometry, a.k.a. the ability to read a person by touching his skin. While it’s not comparable to Prison Playbook, the series was pretty successful in its home country. The cast includes Park Jin-young, Shin Ye-eun, Kim Kwon, and Kim Da-som.
