The third run of Star Trek: Lower Decks is hitting Paramount+ this week.

Starting Thursday, Aug. 25, Star Trek fans will be glad to hear the most dysfunctional crew in the whole universe is back with new misadventures. Star Trek: Lower Decks was created by Mike McMahan, and is based on Gene Roddenberry’s Star Trek. The show stars Tawny Newsome, Jack Quaid,  Noël Wells, Eugene Cordero, Dawnn Lewis, Jerry O’Connell, Fred Tatasciore, and Gillian Vigman. Season two is currently available on Blu-ray and DVD.

“The support crew serving on one of Starfleet’s least important ships, the U.S.S. Cerritos, have to keep up with their duties, often while the ship is being rocked by a multitude of sci-fi anomalies,” reads the series’ synopsis.

Additionally, Paul Verhoeven’s RoboCop will be available to stream starting on Monday, Aug. 22. The cast features Peter Weller, Nancy Allen, Daniel O’Herlihy, Ronny Cox, Kurtwood Smith, and Miguel Ferrer. The story of the armored cyborg law enforcer is one of the most iconic in filmmaking history and had a huge influence on pop culture. The first installment spurred several sequels and a TV series.
