Warner Bros. Discovery has announced that the upcoming animated series My Adventures with Superman will be premiering on Adult Swim this year.

According to an announcement from the company, the series is set to debut during Adult Swim’s late-night primetime hours in 2023 and will encore on Toonami. My Adventures with Superman was first announced in 2021 and received little news or updates in the time since, leading to some wondering if the series was still coming.

My Adventures with Superman is described as an action-packed, comedic, and romantic adventure of Superman and Lois. The animated series will follow Clark as he builds his secret Superman identity and embraces his role as the hero of Metropolis — and perhaps the world. Lois, now growing into a star investigative journalist, takes aspiring photographer Jimmy Olsen under her wing. All the while, Clark and Lois are falling in love, sharing adventures, taking down bad guys, stumbling over secrets, and discovering what it means to be Superman and Lois Lane.

My Adventures with Superman is executive produced by Sam Register, Jake Wyatt, and Brendan Clogher, with Josie Campbell set as a producer. The series features Alice Lee (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) and The Boys star Jack Quaid as Lois Lane and Superman/ Clark Kent, respectively.
