Episode 4 was the most shocking installment of Moon Knight yet. And it featured some of the coolest Easter eggs on the show so far. Like when Marc and Layla come across an ancient Egyptian tool, and it’s the gadget they used to use to pull a corpse’s organs out of the body during mummification. Steven described this tool in detail back on Moon Knight Episode 1.

That’s just one of the little Easter eggs, hidden Marvel references, and little details you might have missed on Moon Knight Episode 4. In the video below, we go through more than 20 minutes of them, including more background on what happened to the Egyptian gods and why they “abandoned” Earth, how Marc’s Marvel Cinematic Universe origin compares to his origin in Marvel Comics, the references to Jeff Lemire’s Moon Knight storyline, and what the heck was going on in that shocking ending — including all the images from the first four episodes that reappear in the asylum sequence. The Coolest Eternals Easter Eggs
