The first official trailer for the upcoming Netflix film Look Both Ways has been released ahead of the film’s debut on August 17, 2022, showcasing the different paths of life that one action can take someone on.

The film, which stars Lili Reinhart (Riverdale) revolves around Natalie, a woman whose life diverges into two parallel realities: one in which she becomes pregnant and remains in her hometown in Austin, Texas, and another in which she ventures off to Los Angeles to pursue a career. Both lives end up featuring their own twists and turns.

Look Both Ways stars Danny Ramirez, David Corenswet, Aisha Dee, Andrea Savage, Luke Wilson, and Nia Long, and is directed by Wanuri Kahiu. The script comes from April Prosser, with Bryan Unkeless, p.g.a., Eric Newman, and Jessica Malanaphy, p.g.a., all producing.

“On the eve of her college graduation, Natalie’s [Lili Reinhart] life diverges into parallel realities: one in which she becomes pregnant and remains in her hometown, and another in which she does not and moves to Los Angeles,” reads the official synopsis for the film. “In both journeys, Natalie experiences life-changing love, pursues her dream career as an artist, and rediscovers herself.”
