Kenan Thompson will reprise his role from D2: The Mighty Ducks on P.K.’s Places.
The SNL star’s first acting role before his career took off with All That and Kenan & Kel was his role as Russ Tyler in D2: The Mighty Ducks. Thompson recently reprised his role in an episode of the ESPN+ show P.K.’s Places. This show stars former NHL player P.K. Subban exploring the history of professional hockey.
“When challenged by Chris Chelios to see who has the hardest shot, P.K. seeks help from Mighty Ducks legend Kenan Thompson, where he learns the knuckle puck and traces the origins of the slapshot,” reads the Episode 6: ‘The Slapshot’ official synopsis.

What is the next Kenan Thompson movie?
In 2023, Kenan Thompson will star in Trolls Band Together, reprising his role as Tiny Diamond from Trolls World Tour. He will also reunite with former co-star Kel Mitchell in Good Burger 2, a sequel to their 1997 cult comedy.
