John Wick: Chapter 4 star Keanu Reeves has entertained the idea of revisiting another memorable character of his — Speed‘s Jack Traven.

While speaking with Looper, Reeves revealed that he would be open to reprising his Speed role as Jack Traven, as he views having the opportunity to reprise beloved roles as “a special thing.”

“It’s cool … I never expected that starting out, so to have the opportunity to reprise roles, especially roles that you love, is a special thing. I acknowledge that,” Reeves said. “To be in John Wick: Chapter 4 is like, ‘What?’ In terms of reprising a role, I don’t know — let’s throw Jack Traven from Speed in the Wayback Machine.”

Speed was released in 1994 and starred Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock. The movie is centered on a Los Angeles police officer and his partner who, along with the help of a passenger, must help save the hostages on a bus that is rigged to explode if it drops below 50 miles per hour.

The film is beloved and spawned a sequel, Speed 2: Cruise Control, which did not feature Reeves. It was met with a largely negative reception and is considered one of the worst film sequels of all time.
