Well Go USA has revealed the official Gangnam Zombie trailer for the upcoming U.S. theatrical release of the South Korean thriller, which stars Ji Il-joo and Park Ji-yeon. The film will be available on digital, Blu-ray, and DVD on September 26.

In the video, a zombie outbreak strikes the wealthy Gangnam district in Seoul. It’s up to a former Taekwondo athlete to lead survivors against the undead.

What to Expect in Gangnam Zombie?

“Soon after previously normal people begin viciously attacking other citizens in Seoul’s wealthy Gangnam district, the zombie population grows exponentially and spreads throughout the region,” reads the synopsis. “Now, long after injuries forced him to quit the national taekwondo team, an elite former athlete is given one more opportunity to use his talent on behalf of his country as he takes on one final match—this time, against terrifying hordes of the undead.”

Described as a terrifying horror dramedy, Gangnam Zombie is directed by Lee Su-seong. The film stars Ji Il-ju (Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo), former K-Pop idol Park Ji-yeon (Death Bell 2: Bloody Camp), and Cho Kyung-hoon (North Korean Guys), Choi Seong-min, Lee Joo-jeong, and Tak Teu-in.
