The trailer takes players though 1960s Japan and follows a young woman. Some sort of red fungus starts creeping up on her and latching onto everything in sight. It then cuts and shows the woman floating on a platform made of this fungus, which has now overtaken her.

Author Ryūkishi07, who is famous “for Japanese visual novels dealing with murder mysteries, psychological, and supernatural horror,” is writing the game. Motoi Okamoto, known for his work at Nintendo, is producing it. Developer NeoBards Entertainment is also collaborating with Capcom for the upcoming multiplayer game Resident Evil Re:Verse.
