While not too much is known about the upcoming comedy holiday film Red One starring Dwayne Johnson, the actor did recently take to social media to share a photograph of their Santa Claus.

The new photos Johnson shared show his character, who seems to be an elf of some sort, walking behind J.K. Simmons dressed as a more tactical Santa Claus. In the post, Johnson said that it’s “an honor having his six,” before noting that it’s been another solid week working on the film. Johnson teased that more would be coming, before signing off as the “Commander of the E.L.F.”

Red One is being directed and produced by Jake Kasdan, who reunites with Johnson after working together on the blockbuster Jumanji films. It is also written by Fast and Furious‘ Chris Morgan, based on a story conceived by Hiram Garcia.

Further details about its plot and characters are still being kept under wraps, but it is described as a globe-trotting, four-quadrant action-adventure comedy that imagines a whole new universe to explore within the holiday genre. Evans and Johnson will be joined by Lucy Liu, Kiernan Shipka, Kristofer Hivju, Nick Kroll, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, and Wesley Kimmel.

The project is produced by Morgan, Melvin Mar, and Sky Salem Robinson, along with Johnson, Hiram Garcia, and Dany Garcia for Seven Bucks Productions.
