Hulu has found its replacement for Justin Roiland in the animated comedy Solar Opposites, with Dan Stevens taking over for its fourth season.
Dan Stevens to voice Korvo in Solar Opposites Season 4
Stevens (Downton Abbey, Legion, Gaslit) will take over voicing as Korvo, an alien that claims to hate Earth and is always looking for a way to fix their spaceship and make it home. A new clip featuring Stevens in the role was also released by Hulu ahead of Solar Opposites’ Season 4 premiere on August 14, 2023.

The move comes following Roiland’s removal from the series earlier this year, after allegations of domestic violence surfaced alongside reports of years of troubling behavior from the creative. Along with his status at Solar Opposites, Roiland was also fired from Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty, which he co-created along with Dan Harmon and voiced both roles.
An Orange County District Attorney dismissed the domestic violence charges earlier this year, citing insufficient evidence. Responding to the claims, Roiland called the outcome “justice” for him, and continued to maintain other allegations made against him were false. However, neither Adult Swim nor Hulu (who Roiland worked with on Solar Opposites and Koala Man) seem ready to welcome him back in any capacity.
