Crunchyroll‘s movie catalog is getting even bigger. The company announced on Friday that it would be adding a handful of new anime movies to its streaming platform this month, including Backflip!! The Movie.
What new movies are coming to Crunchyroll?
Both Backflip!! The Movie and Hula Fulla Dance are now available to stream on Crunchyroll. Backflip!! The Movie originally premiered in July 2022 in Japan, and is a sequel to the 2021 rhythmic gymnastics anime Backflip!! that ran for 12 episodes.
Hula Fulla Dance follows the story of a dance team that finds themselves at a spa resort in Hawaii. The movie was originally released in theaters in Japan in December 2021, and adapted into a manga as well.
Alongside Backflip!! The Movie and Hula Fulla Dance, Crunchyroll will also add the Chinese animated movie The Legend of Hei to the platform on May 18, 2023. The Legend of Hei is a prequel to the animated series The Legend of Luo Xiaohei, and originally released in 2019. The film tells the story of various events in Luo Xiaohei’s life.
