The Devil is a Part-Timer!! Episode 11 Recap

Rika accompanies Ashiya, Maou, and Suzuno. While eating, Rika asks them about their respective budgets. Maou confronts a customer who was speaking English to the cashier. He tells him to talk more politely. Outside the restaurant, the guy complains over the phone about setting the proper language for their target country. Meanwhile, Emi ends up in front of a hospital while looking for another Yesod Fragment.

Maou and the others begin shopping at the electronics store. While Ashiya goes to Suzuno, Maou asks Rika if she’s in love with Ashiya, and Rika panics. After that, Maou and Suzuno have tea while Ashiya looks at mobile phones. Maou brings up Rika’s feelings, making Suzuno angry. Suzuno talks about how the situation isn’t the same as Chiho’s since Rika doesn’t know who they truly are. After Maou discusses a solution where they tell her they’re devils, Suzuno argues they can’t get more humans involved anymore. Maou explains that when they first arrived in Japan, it was unavoidable to interact with humans. Furthermore, Rika is already Emi’s long-time friend. Suddenly, the screen of the LCD TVs in the store was shattered all at the same time. Emi calls Suzuno to tell her Chiho’s unconscious due to magical power poisoning.

The group visits an unconscious Chiho in the hospital. Meanwhile, Suzuno figured out the formula for what’s happening to Chiho. Since someone probably used the holy spirit sonar, Chiho’s life energy turned into magical power. However, Suzuno isn’t sure what the sonar is searching for. Suddenly, the TV behind them explodes. Urushihara shows up and tells them it’s probably The Watcher. Suzuno notes it’s Raguel the Watcher, and Urushihara explains Raguel has special authority concerning fallen angels. Emi thinks the angels are looking for her mother. Outside the hospital, Urushihara explains more about Raguel and Sariel. Maou concludes they need to take care of Raguel, especially since Chiho was affected. Emi and Suzuno agree to team up with Maou for Chiho’s sake. Meanwhile, the silver-haired lady places a purple ring on Chiho, probably containing a Yesod Fragment.
