With talk of The Witcher season 4 being delayed hitting social media and forums, many fans are wondering if the reports and rumors are true. Here’s the need-to-know info about The Witcher delays and when fans should expect new episodes to come out on Netflix.

Has The Witcher season 4 been delayed?

The Witcher season 4 has reportedly been delayed.

Reports stem from Redanian Intelligence which claims that production for The Witcher season 4 has been delayed until 2024.

Previously, casting director Sophie Holland had confirmed in an interview with Deadline that season 4 was “about to start filming with Liam Hemsworth.” This was back in May. The plan was to film season 4 and then there would be “a short gap” before going “straight into season 5.”

Why has The Witcher season 4 been delayed?

Assuming that the reports of The Witcher season 4 being delayed are accurate, the delays are likely due to the ongoing writer strikes.

At the time of writing, there has been no official confirmation of season 4 being delayed. If the reports are true, it’s possible that Netflix will reveal a later-than-expected release date sometime relatively soon.

When will The Witcher season 4 come out on Netflix?

The Witcher season 4 is now expected to release on Netflix in 2025.

Initially, the anticipated release date was for late 2024. However, with the potential delay, a better estimate would be 2025.

It’s worth noting that, at the time of publishing, Netflix has not acknowledged any delays or announced a season 4 release date. For now, it’s purely speculation around the future season.

ComingSoon will report on any developments as and when they happen.
