During Saturday’s Trigun panel at Anime Expo, a new trailer was dropped for the upcoming series Trigun Stampede by TOHO and Orange, alongside the release of new visuals and cast announcements.

The new trailer gives fans a look at Vash the Stampede’s past, as well as his updated design. There’s also a brief clip from a fight sequence, showing off Vash’s quick reflexes. In addition to the trailer, two new visuals were released, which you can check out at the bottom of the page.

The following cast members and the characters they’ll be playing were also revealed:

  • Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Vash the Stampede
  • Junya Ikeda as Knives Millions
  • Tomoyo Kurosawa as Young Vash
  • Yumiri Hanamori as Young Knives
  • Maaya Sakamoto as Rem Saverem

If you’ve never seen the original Trigun series, it’s currently available to stream on Crunchyroll.

Trigun is a popular action manga series by Yasuhiro Nightow that follows the story of Vash the Stampede, a legendary gunman and a pacifist with a bounty on his head,” reads the original series’ synopsis. “Its original 1998 anime series, Trigun, and a 2010 feature film, Trigun: Badlands Rumble, achieved global popularity and inspired many creators.”
