The 2000s are widely regarded as one of the great decades in the history of cinema. It’s the era that gave us No Country For Old MenZodiacThe Dark KnightThe DepartedThe PrestigeMementoWet Hot American SummerTalladega NightsWALL-EMemories of MurderPunch-Drunk Love, and many more.

It also gave us these pieces of junk.

Of course, every decade produces bad movies. (For proof, look here or here.) And in a sense, a truly bad movie performs a public service. Below, we have ranked our picks for the 25 worst movies of the 2000s. Most you’ve heard of. A few, if you’re very unlucky, you might have even seen. They run the gamut from superhero films to video game adaptations to romantic comedies to deranged vanity projects. But they all have something in common: They are bad. Very, very, very bad.

Here they are, the worst movies of the 2000s.
