New details about The Terminal List Season 2 reveal which characters from Jack Carr’s novels will appear in future episodes and more.

The Terminal List, Season 2, Chris Pratt, Taylor Kitsch

When Prime Video announced a second season of The Terminal List and a prequel series focusing on Ben Edwards (Taylor Kitsch), fans of Jack Carr‘s bestselling novels became fired up about the possibilities of expanding a world they enjoy on the small screen. Today, we’re learning more about the conspiracy thriller led by Chris Pratt, including which characters from Carr’s novels will show up in future episodes of the nail-biting drama.

The Terminal List Season 2 takes inspiration from Carr’s novel True Believer. Furthermore, characters Mohammed Farooq and Ernest “Boozer” Vickers will appear alongside Pratt’s James Reece and Kitsch’s Ben Edwards in future episodes. Vickers is featured in Season 1, portrayed by former Navy SEAL and series producer Jared Shaw.

The prequel series does not have a title. However, sources indicate the story focuses on Edwards’ genesis from Navy SEAL to CIA paramilitary operator, delving into the casualties of war and the dark paths one can walk when hoping to escape the past.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to reprise my role as James Reece,” Pratt said, saying that Season 2 of The Terminal List “promises to be even more intense and action-packed than the first” and that the prequel “will be just as thrilling and engaging as The Terminal List.”

“The phenomenal summer debut of The Terminal List is a testament to the creativity of Jack Carr, David DiGilio and Chris Pratt along with the cast and teams who delivered such an original and compelling series,” said Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon and MGM Studios. “With the second season of The Terminal List and Prime Video’s new prequel series starring the amazing Taylor Kitsch, we are expanding on the storytelling and characters beloved by so many all over the world.”

Have you read Carr’s novel True Believer? Did watching The Terminal List make you a fan of Carr’s work? Will Pratt’s busy schedule permit him to keep working on the series, or will his Hollywood dance card take priority? I could see The Terminal List lasting for several seasons on Prime Video if they play their cards correctly and juggle characters and calendars accordingly.
