Lego Stars War: Summer Vacation was officially unveiled during Star Wars Celebration 2022, and will take place after the events of Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker, and will see Rose, Rey, Finn, Poe, and Chewbacca taking a much-deserved vacation after defeating the likes of Emperor Palpatine. Throughout the special, they’ll visit other iconic Star Wars locales while interacting with various characters from the franchise.

Not too much else is known about the upcoming special, but Disney did reveal that many well-known Star Wars characters will appear in the special, including C-3PO, Lando, Boba Fett, Rey, Poe, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Rose, Jabba the Hutt, Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Finn, Han Solo, Leia, and Palpatine. Characters from Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures — a series that ran on Disney XD — will also appear, including Wick Cooper and Valeria. Finally, musician Weird Al Yankovic is also set to appear in the special, voicing a character named Vic Vankoh.

This marks the third Lego Star Wars special released for Disney+, with the first — The Lego Star Wars Holiday Special — releasing in November 2020 before the second, Lego Star Wars Terrifying Tales, released in October 2021.

Each of the specials have tackled a different holiday or season, with summer the next one on the list. As this is the case with past Lego Star Wars specials, it’s highly unlikely any of the main cast from the original Star Wars films or the sequel trilogies will make an appearance.
