Slumberland Trailer Previews The World of Dreams

The first official trailer for the highly anticipated upcoming Netflix film Slumberland has been released, showcasing even more of the fantastical world that Jason Mamoa and Marlow Barkley will get to explore.

The new trailer comes just a couple of weeks after a new clip for the film had been shown off at Netflix’s Tudum event. However, with the film set to premiere on the streaming platform on November 18, 2022, a proper trailer was bound to arrive at some point, and now fans can check out an even longer look at the upcoming film.

Slumberland is directed by Francis Lawrence (Constantine), who’s currently in production for The Hunger Games prequel The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. The Netflix film, which is based on Windson McCay’s comic strip titled Little Nemo in Slumberland, is written by David Guion and Micahel Handelman.

“A young girl discovers a secret map to the dreamworld of Slumberland, and with the help of an eccentric outlaw, with the hope that she will be able to see her late father again,” reads the synopsis.

The film stars Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Marlow Barkley (Single Parents), Weruche Opia (I May Destroy You), India de Beaufort (One Tree Hill), Kyle Chandler (King Kong), and Chris O’Dowd (Gulliver’s Travels).

Slumberland is produced by Lawrence, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, David Ready, and Cameron MacConomy, with Guion, Handelman, and Ray Angelic executive producing.
