A Sigur Rós anunciou uma nova reedição de ( ) para comemorar o 20º aniversário do álbum. O novo álbum será lançado digitalmente em 28 de outubro e estará disponível em formatos físicos em 25 de novembro. A nova edição – remasterizada pelo engenheiro Ted Jenson na Sterling Sound – inclui lados B e demos inéditas. Abaixo, ouça uma versão de estúdio de “Untitled #7” (também conhecida como “Dauðalagið” ou “The Death Song”).

Em fevereiro, Sigur Rós anunciou que estava trabalhando em um novo álbum. No início daquele mês, também foi revelado que Kjartan Sveinsson voltou ao grupo depois de quase uma década longe da banda.

Between those careers, he’s worked as a deckhand, commercial fisherman, divemaster, taxi driver, construction manager, and over the road truck driver, among many other things. He now lives on a sea island, in the South Carolina Lowcountry, with his wife and youngest daughter. They also have three grown children, five grand children, three dogs and a whole flock of parakeets. Stinnett grew up in Melbourne, Florida and has also lived in the Florida Keys, the Bahamas, and Cozumel, Mexico. His next dream is to one day visit and dive Cuba.
