The second half of the first season of Ranking of Kings is coming home as Crunchyroll has announced a Ranking of Kings Season 1 Part 2 Blu-ray release date.

When does Ranking of Kings Season 1 Part 2 come out on Blu-ray?

The Rankings of Kings Season 1 Part 2 Blu-ray release date is set for August 22, 2023 and will package together episodes 12-23 of the first season of the series. The Blu-ray will be available in two different formats. The first is a standard Blu-ray/DVD combo pack, while the other is a premium, limited edition collection for the second half of the first season.

The limited edition packaging will include a ton of physical goodies for fans of the show, including four art cards, an embroidered patch, and a 152-page art book featuring production art and staff illustration from Wit Studio, the company behind the series.

Both the Blu-ray and limited Blu-ray/DVD combo pack will also come with a handful of bonus features on the discs as well, including web previews for Ranking of Kings as well as textless opening and ending songs from the series.

“Bojji, was born the first prince of the kingdom ruled by King Bosse, who is ranked number seven in the Ranking of Kings,” the synopsis of the series reads. “But Bojji was born unable to hear and is so powerless that he can’t even swing a sword. In consequence, not only his own retainers, but also the public, look down upon him as completely unfit to be king. It is then that Bojji finds his first friend, Kage. His fateful encounter with Kage ignites a tiny spark of courage, and their lives both take a dramatic turn.”
