Marvel Studios invited everyone at San Diego Comic-Con into the Quantum Realm for the first look at Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Marvel fans were all abuzz after spotting a poster for the Ant-Man sequel outside of Hall H, where all the magic happens. The Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania poster depicts Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), and Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton) in a new suit. Also pictured on the poster is Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), who stands to cause a lot of trouble for the Marvel Universe in films and other MCU projects. At the event, fans got a first look at Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania trailer. Read on for more details!

During the panel, Kevin Feige welcomes Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly to the stage. Feige explained that fans would spend more time in the Quantum Realm when Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania comes to theaters. Rudd teased that Scott has been busy writing a book and is quite pleased with himself. The book is called “Look Out For the Little Guy.” Lilly says Hope has to confront her fragility this time, unlike in the last movie where she was a bonafide badass. This story element feels like a step backward to me, but let’s move on.

Kathryn Newton is also there, and she says Cassie will become who she was always supposed to be in the new film. Sadly, the trailer is for Hall H attendees only.

In the trailer, everyone is sucked into the Quantum Realm. Bill Murray is in the movie and plays a guy in charge of Janet Van Dyne while she is in the Quantum Realm. The trailer ends with the arrival of Kang the Conqueror. M.O.D.O.K. is also confirmed to be in the film.

After the trailer, Jonathan Majors joined others on the stage. The crowd went wild. He’s a variant. When asked to describe his role in the film, he says he’ll “be conquering.”

Peyton Reed returns to direct Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, starring Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne. The last time we checked in with Scott Lang, he picked up the pieces of his old life after The Blip, an MCU event that erased half the planet’s population for five years. Elated to find his daughter (Cassie) still alive, Lang feels a need to share what he’s learned in the Quantum Realm with the rest of his fellow Avengers. Won’t he be surprised when he finds out that much has changed about the MCU while he’s been gone?

Now that the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania poster has been revealed, smoke on the street suggests we’ll get a trailer for the movie at Marvel Studios’ Hall H presentation at Comic-Con. If the trailer drops, we will update this article as soon as possible to share the new hotness with you, our awesome readers. With any luck, the evening’s events will give fans a better grasp of what Marvel hopes to accomplish with the remainder of their Phase 4 initiative.

What do you think about the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania poster? Are you excited for Cassie Lang and Kang the Conqueror to join the MCU in a larger capacity? Let us know in the comments section below.
