The series is about two former best friends who reconnect after going through a feud in the past. Now as they meet again, things don’t get better as their renewed friendship destabilizes their lives even further.

The show stars Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne as the main characters. The cast also includes Tre Hale, Luke Macfarlane, Carla Gallo, Andrew Lopez, Guy Branum, Janet Varney, Alisha Wainwright, Emily Kimball, and Vinny Thomas.

The official synopsis of Platonic reads:

“A platonic pair of former best friends approaching midlife (Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne) reconnect after a long rift. The duo’s friendship becomes more consuming – and destabilizes their relationship in a hilarious way.”
