Disney+ has released the official Parallels trailer for its forthcoming French sci-fi drama, which centers around a group of friends who suddenly get involved in a time-traveling mystery where three of them turned into their adult versions. All six episodes are scheduled to make their debut on March 23.

The video, which you can check out below, begins with four teenagers as their lives completely changed due to an unexplainable electrical phenomenon. What was supposed to be a normal and fun night turns into a confusing missing person case.

“We wanted to tell a fantastic story about teenagers, at an age when you leave innocence and the bonds of friendship are unfailing,” creator Quoc Dang Tran said in a statement. “The special effects and the spectacular elements were less important to us than the emotions and the intimacy – we were perfectly heard by the Disney teams who accompanied us throughout the project with enthusiasm.”
