A brand-new South Park special is about to his Paramount+.
On July 13, South Park: The Streaming Wars Part 2 will hit ViacomCBS’ streaming service. The upcoming long-feature is part of the $900 million deal signed between South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and ViacomCBS to bring more seasons of the much-appreciated animated comedy series to Comedy Central. Additionally, 14 original South Park hour-long films are expected to hit Paramount+ before 2027.
“Cartman locks horns with his mom in a battle of wills, while an epic conflict unfolds and threatens South Park’s very existence,” reads the official synopsis of the upcoming film. Alongside the made-for-TV films, South Park has also been continuing its run on television, as the 25th season of the series recently wrapped earlier this year, after airing six episodes on Comedy Central.
Parker and Stone produced the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning series together with Anne Garefino and Frank C. Agnone II.

The series stars Matt Barr, Sofia Pernas, Oded Fehr, Michael James Shaw, Katia Winter, James Callis, as well as Alicia Coppola, and Mark Gagliardi.
“In the show, a former FBI agent and a cunning thief and con artist must form an unlikely alliance to thwart a shadowy organization that uses stolen art and antiquities to fund global terrorism.”
