You! Yes, You! At their annual Tudum fan event, Netflix unveiled the trailer for season four of their hit series You, along with the release date. Fans can expect to reunite with killer Joe Goldberg in February next year.
The You teaser finds Joe going through “a bit of refinement” in London, taking on the role of professor. We also get glimpses of the familiar and new characters such as Marienne (Tati Gabrielle), Nadia (Amy Leigh Hickman), Rhys (Ed Speleers), and Phoebe (Tilly Keeper). Other key additions include Lukas Gage as a wealthy American who “does absolutely anything he can get away with” and Charlotte Ritchie as Kate, an art gallery director deemed an “icy bitch.”
Season four of Netflix’s You will be divided into two parts, which means yet another wait for die-hard fans. Fortunately, it will be a much shorter wait than they have grown accustomed to, with part one arriving in February and part two the following month. Also on the bright side, the gap between season three and four will be far less than the previous span, which was nearly two years. This was partly due to the Covid-19 pandemic causing a lockdown during production.
You has been a major success for Netflix. The season three premiere back in 2021 actually bumped the popular Squid Game from the top of the streaming charts after its nearly four-week reign.
Much of You’s success–other than our apparent obsession with murderers–is Penn Badgley’s performance, which has been hailed across the board. For the first season, Badgley earned an MTV Movie & TV Award nomination for Best Villain.
The first part of season four of Netflix’sYou will debut on February 10, 2023, while part two will launch on March 10.
