Marlon Wayans is stepping back into the world of horror-comedy films, as he’s set to star in the upcoming Netflix film The Curse of Bridge Hollow later this year.

The film will feature a fairly star-studded cast, with Wayans joining alongside Priah Ferguson, Kelly Rowland, Rob Riggle, John Michael Higgins, Nia Vardalos, Lauren Lapkus, Holly J. Barrett, Myles Vincent Perez, Abi Monterey, and Helen Slayton-Hughes. So far, only a few first-look photos from the film have made their way online, giving fans a small look at what to expect from the film.

The film is set to release on Netflix on October 14, 2022, lining it up right in time for the Halloween season and right in the middle of Netflix’s fall slate of content, which is likely to include a handful of other horror-themed films and series.

“A father (Marlon Wayans) and his teenage daughter (Priah Ferguson) are forced to team up and save their town after an ancient and mischievous spirit causes Halloween decorations to come to life and wreak havoc,” reads the official synopsis for the upcoming film.
