Following the conclusion of Love, Victor, Michael Cimino has officially found his next project, which comes in the form of another hit coming-of-age comedy series in Never Have I Ever.

The Hollywood Reporter brings word that Cimino has been tapped for the recurring role of Ethan in the fourth and final season of the Netflix series. Ethan is described as a skater and new heartthrob at Sherman Oaks High. The series is slated to make its return with Season 3 this August 12, while the fourth and final season will arrive sometime in 2023.

In addition to landing Never Have I Ever, Cimino has also been cast in a two-episode HBO Max romantic special titled B-Loved starring alongside Peyton List from Cobra Kai.

“The film revolves around Bea (List), a free-spirited teenage ghost who forms a special friendship with the new boy in town, Cole (Cimino), whose house she has been inhabiting for more than 100 years,” reads the synopsis. “With the help of a magical ring that allows Cole to see Bea, they’ll rediscover the meaning of being alive, but also the importance of letting go.”

Inspired by Mindy Kaling’s own childhood, Never Have I Ever is a coming-of-age series that follows the complicated life of a modern-day first-generation Indian American teenage girl. It is led by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as Devi, an overachieving high school sophomore who has a short fuse that gets her into difficult situations.

The series also stars Poorna Jagannathan as Nalini, Richa Moorjani as Kamala, Ramona Young as Eleanor, Jaren Lewison as Ben, Darren Barnet as Paxton, Lee Rodriguez as Fabiola, and Niecy Nash as Devi’s therapist along with John McEnroe as the narrator.
