In a now deleted video (via Comic Book Movie) Marvel Studios officially showed its 2023 lineup, confirming that Echo and Agatha: Coven of Chaos are indeed making their respective debuts sometime next year. It’s unclear why Marvel UK & Ireland decided to delete the video from Twitter, especially when it only featured a compilation of clips from all of the studio’s Disney+ shows and movies that came out this year, including Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Besides the two spin-offs, Loki Season 2, Secret Invasion, and Ironheart are also expected to arrive on Disney+ in 2023. Just like this year, there are also only three Marvel Cinematic Universe movies set to be released next year: Ant Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and The Marvels.

Echo will feature the return of Alaqua Cox as she reprises her role as Maya Lopez after debuting in last year’s Hawkeye, where it was revealed Maya had a long history with Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin, who will also return in Echo. Joining D’Onofrio are Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Zahn McClarnon (Fargo), Devery Jacobs (Reservation Dogs), Cody Lightning, Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, and Graham Greene.

In Marvel Comics, Echo — the adoptive daughter of the Kingpin — is a deaf Native American woman who possesses the ability to perfectly copy other people’s movements while also being a highly capable martial artist and acrobat.

Agatha: Coven of Chaos (formerly titled House of Harkness) was officially announced during Disney Day 2021. It will feature the return of Kathryn Hahn as she reprises her WandaVision role as Agatha Harkness, who was one of the Elizabeth Olsen-led series’ antagonists and is the one who revealed Wanda’s true potential as the Scarlet Witch. For her fan-favorite performance, she earned an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Joining Hahn are Emma Caulfield Ford, Heartstopper breakout Joe Locke, Aubrey Plaza (Ingrid Goes West), Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Sasheer Zamata, and Patti LuPone.
