According to Deadline, Avatar star Sam Worthington, Jean Reno (Léon: The Professional), Burn Gorman (Pacific Rim), and Jacob Batalon (Spider-Man: No Way Home) have been tapped to join Kevin Hart in Netflix’s forthcoming heist thriller film titled Lift.

They will be joining previously announced cast members Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Loki), Vincent D’Onofrio (The Eyes of Tammy FayeDaredevil), Billy Magnussen (Game Night), Úrsula Corberó (La Casa de Papel, Snake Eyes), Kim Yoon-ji (The Last Empress), Viveik Kalra (Blinded by the Light), and Paul Anderson (Peaky Blinders).

Lift will be directed by F. Gary Gray (Law Abiding Citizen) from a screenplay written by Daniel Kunka and Jeremy Donner. It is being described as an action movie about an international heist crew recruited to prevent a terrorist attack mid-flight. Hart is set to portray a master thief who gets involved in the heist after being convinced by his ex-girlfriend.

Lift will be executive produced by Gray, Brent O’Connor, and Patricia Braga, with Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon for Genre Pictures, Matt Reeves and Adam Kassan for 6th & Idaho, and Hart and Brian Smiley for HartBeat Productions serving as producers.
