Keanu reeves, Young fan, airport, viral, social media

Keanu Reeves is providing us with even more proof that he’s probably the nicest guy in Hollywood. The latest example involves a chance encounter between Reeves and a young fan at the airport that has gone viral simply because of just how nice the actor actually is.

TV producer Andrew Kimmel witnessed and shared a conversation on Twitter between Reeves and a young fan at the airport that has only made fans fall in love with him more. Kimmel’s tweet reads, “Keanu Reeves was on my flight from London to NYC today. A young boy asked for an autograph at baggage and then began to fire off a series of rapid fire questions. Keanu happily responded to every single one.” You can check out the tweet which features an image of Reeves and the young boy below!

Keanu Reeves’ nice guy reputation in Hollywood has been widely reported for years. During an appearance on Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Red Table Talk a while back, a fan asked Reeves the following: “Keanu, everyone says you’re Hollywood’s nicest guy, and you’re such a giving person. What do you do to give to yourself.” The actor clearly looked bashful and began to laugh as Pinket-Smith patted him on the back. During this time, an article from The New Yorker popped up that read, “Keanu Reeves is too good for this world.” I reference this moment because at times, at least in this industry, he really seems to be.

As for the rapid-fire questions, here they are and complete with Reeves actually giving the kid an answer to every one of them before beginning to ask the boy some questions himself (all transcribed by Kimmel):

Kid: Why were you in London?

KR: Filming a documentary.

Kid: I saw online you were at the Grand Prix (pronouncing the x)

KR: Yes, the Grand Prix (in a French accent, without correcting him. F1! Race cars!

Kid: Do you drive?

KR: Not F1, but I like riding motorcycles.

Kid: Do you live in NY?

KR: I live in L.A.

Kid: How long are you gonna be in New York?

KR: Four days! No…five. Five days!

Kid: Why are you in NY?

KR: Gonna see a Broadway show!

Kid: What Broadway show?

KR: American Buffalo. Mamet.

Kid: Where are you staying in NY?

KR: Midtown.

By this time, the boy was running out of questions, so Reeves started grilling him, “Why were you in Europe? What galleries did you go to in Paris? What was your favorite?”

Kimmel also had to geek out himself and ask for a photo and Reeves happily obliged him!

Nope! We do not deserve Keanu Reeves but I’m happy we have him.
