Several times over the years, we’ve shared video walkthroughs of Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights… and since Halloween is now sneaking up on us, we figured it was time to share a video that gives a look at the 2022 Halloween Horror Nights event. In the video embedded above, you can join our own Jessica Dwyer as she makes her way around the mazes and scare zones.

The Halloween Horror Nights event has the following description:

Southern California’s Scariest Halloween Event

Summon your scream squad to Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights with 8 haunted houses, the Terror Tram, scare zones, a live show and exhilarating attractions. Whether you’re a superfan, here for the snacks or selfies, scared of everything or skeptical of everyone, remember, never go alone.

Terrifying Haunted Houses and the Terror Tram Coming This Year

Enter haunted houses inspired by the biggest names in fear. You’re never quite sure if your spine is tingling with dread or sheer excitement.

The mazes constructed at Universal Studios Hollywood for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights include ones inspired by Halloween, Blumhouse Productions, Universal Monsters, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, La Llorona, The Weeknd, and more. The Terror Tram aims to take guests “into the mind of Jordan Peele”.

Jessica Dwyer is the host of the JoBlo Horror Originals video series WTF Happened to This Horror Celebrity? (a.k.a. Where in the Horror Are They Now) and the Paranormal Network video series Mytheries. You can see our tour of the 2019 Halloween Horror Nights at THIS LINK and our 2018 walkthrough HERE. Back in 2016, genre filmmaker Eli Roth (Cabin Fever, Hostel, etc.) joined us for our tour through Halloween Horror Nights, and you can see that video at THIS LINK.

Are you a fan of Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights? Have you been there this year? Let us know by leaving a comment below.
