Halloween Ends, the final chapter in the Halloween sequel trilogy that began with Halloween 2018 and continued with Halloween Kills, is set to reach theatres and the Peacock streaming service on October 14th – and a digital release of the score composed by John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter, and Daniel Davies to scheduled for the same day! Pre-orders can be made at THIS LINK. A physical release will follow on January 20th, and a couple versions of the vinyl release are only available on the Sacred Bones Records website.

A track from the score called “The Procession” has been released online, and you can listen to that in the embed at the bottom of this article. The electronic music group Boy Harsher has also contributed a track called “Burn It Down” to the film, and that’s embedded at the bottom of this article as well. Sacred Bones and Boys Harsher’s imprint Nude Club are teaming up to release a maxi single that will feature four different versions of “Burn It Down”. Boy Harsher feels that the track has “the perfect energy for the bittersweet love affair between Allyson and Corey”.

David Gordon Green directed Halloween Ends from a screenplay he wrote with Danny McBride, Paul Brad Logan, and Chris Bernier. Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her iconic role of Laurie Strode, and is joined in the cast by Andi Matichak as Laurie’s granddaughter Allyson, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace, Will Patton as Officer Frank Hawkins, and Michael O’Leary as Doctor Mathis. James Jude Courtney reprises the role of Michael Myers, and original Michael Myers performer Nick Castle will also make a cameo appearance.

Here’s the official synopsis for Halloween Ends:

Four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell; The Hardy BoysVirgin River), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.
